This error is typically caused by one of two situations:

1. Your outbound firewall is blocking connectivity.
2. Your network has configured an outbound proxy server for http traffic.

Please go to the following URL to see the network requirements for click2try.com.

Hello,

I'd definitely suggest adding ImpressCMS (www.impresscms.org) to your application catalog.

In 2009, ImpressCMS was voted the Most Promising Open Source CMS - http://www.packtpub.com/most-promising-open-source-cms-finalists

In 2008, they were a finalist for the Best New Project at SourceForge Community Choice awards - http://sourceforge.net/community/cca08-finalists - and a finalist for the Packt Publishing Open Source CMS Awards.

Hello,

I find your site very interesting and I would like to propose Tryton (http://www.tryton.org/) for inclusion.

Tryton is a three-tiers high-level general purpose application platform under the license GPL-3 written in Python and using PostgreSQL as database engine.
It is the core base of a complete business solution providing modularity, scalability and security.
Some modules are:
- Accounting
- Invoicing
- Sale
- Purchase
- Inventory

The client is a GTK application also written in Pyth...

Tom:
Thanks for your help.
No problems in the environment test. And then I ran the connection test, and it showed "No problems" also. THen I clicked "Start application" and it began downloading, opened the java window, then after a minute the blue progress bar just stopped, and even after a long time nothing happened. Eventually I killed the firefox window.
BTW, the app worked fine from a Windows computer in the same network...

Hello Micha,

When you first start an application, a window opens to perform a client environment test. Are there any red or yellow icons next to the tests that it runs? Most likely the connectivity test has a yellow or red icon. Click on the connectivity test and it will expand. Click the Start Connection Test button. This will perform a complete connection test. The most likely cause of this problem is that your firewall is not allowing outbound connections on one of the required ports. Basically...

When I try to start any app, the java a window opens and starts loading, but locks at about 45%, and never completes.
I use Ubuntu 8.04, with Firefox 3.0.14 and java plugin 1.6.0_16.
Any suggestions?
